Azzurro Cattery – Our Story
My love for cats started early, but everything changed the day I met my first Sphynx. A friend of mine brought her young Sphynx over for a visit, and I had never seen a cat like that before—so warm, outgoing, and deeply connected to people. That visit stayed with me. From that moment on, I knew these were the cats I wanted in my life.
I spent the next year learning everything I could about the breed, talking with breeders, and meeting more Sphynx cats. The more I learned, the more I fell in love with their personalities—their sense of humor, their intelligence, and the way they always want to be part of everything you do.
When I finally brought home my first Sphynx, it felt like a missing piece had finally clicked into place. This cat wasn’t just a pet; he was a shadow, a clown, and a best friend all in one. He taught me patience, responsibility, and how much joy these breeds bring to a home.
A few years later, I met my first Devon Rex, and that was another turning point for me. Their playful nature and soft, curly coats made them impossible not to adore. I realized that both breeds shared something special—deep affection, big personalities, and a love for human companionship. That’s when the idea for Azzurro Cattery truly came to life.
Our Purpose
Here at Azzurro Cattery, our goal is simple: raise healthy Sphynx and Devon Rex kittens with loving, stable temperaments. We want every kitten to grow into a confident companion who’ll bring joy into their family’s life.
Breeding is not just something we do—it’s a long-term commitment. Every kitten born here is part of our family. We stand behind each of them for their entire lifetime and will always take back any of our cats if a family ever needs help.

We work closely with mentors, veterinarians, and other responsible breeders to make decisions that benefit the cats first and always.

What's included with the kitten?
Every kitten comes fully vaccinated, dewormed, vet-checked, and microchipped (if requested). You'll also receive a starter kit that includes food, litter, a blanket with mom's scent, health documents, and a kitten care guide.
Can I request a specific kitten?
Yes! Once you complete the reservation form, you can let us know your preference for breed, color, gender, and personality. If a matching kitten is available, we'll reserve it for you. If not, we'll notify you when one becomes available.
How does the delivery or pickup work?
We offer local pickup at our NYC location or white-glove delivery within New York City and surrounding areas. Out-of-state buyers can choose air shipping, and we ensure a safe, low-stress travel experience for your kitten.
Are your kittens socialized with people?
Absolutely. All our kittens are raised in a home environment with daily human interaction, so they are affectionate, confident, and ready to bond with their new families from day one.
